Text Box: After four heating elements, two timers and several hundred dollars in repair bills the last repairman that visited our home suggested we look at our dryer vent. He said we should check for blockage or separated lines.

After crawling under the house to repair the separated vent we still had very little air flow. The next step was to clean the vents. In our home the vent was over 20 feet long and we had no idea how to clean it other than completely remove it from under the house, clean each section and put it all back together.

After a couple of weeks of trying to locate a local service to clean our vents with no success we started searching the internet for a simple way to clean them. After several conversations with manufacturers and distributors we decided to purchase the RoVac™ system and start a business helping others solve the same problem we had.

We felt if our dryer vent was in such poor condition that other homes must be just as bad, thus the idea of helping others clean their vent.

Our home was the first job performed with this equipment. Before the cleaning it was taking 1-1/2 to 2 hours to dry a load of towels. After the cleaning the first load took 50 minutes.

Mallard Duct Service is licensed and insured. Utilizing the RoVac™ System, the most advanced equipment of its type. Using a combination of suction and rotating brushes, that dangerous lint is removed safely and effectively, both in the ducting system and in the dryer itself.
